They always quote statistics to prove they are right, well lets see, people believed the world was flat for a long time and so just because the masses believe something doesn't mean it's right, it's called agreement. But the main issue is trying to having a rational argument with someone who's belief is tied to their survival is impossible, unless you can get them to suspend that believe for discussion sake, and even then it's tough sell and requires multiple reverse brain washing sessions.
